30MM Acerby TYPE-E Review

30MM Acerby TYPE-E Review

30MM EXM‑H15E Acerby TYPE‑E — An In-Depth Review

I recently built the 30MM Acerby TYPE‑E, and I'm genuinely impressed. It's a strong entry in the 30MM lineup, compact, adaptable, and intuitive to customize. Here’s a breakdown of what makes it stand out from a builder's point of view.

✅ First Impressions & Build Experience

From the moment you open the box, you'll notice that everything is packed with purpose. The sprues are clean, parts fit together snugly, and the instructions are straightforward. If you already know how to build a 30MM kit, you’ll feel right at home. Beginners will appreciate the snap-fit nature and the logical progression through armor and weapon assembly.

🛡️ Armor & Visor Features

The TYPE‑E comes with two styles of armor, shoulder and waist attachments, that are easy to swap and reposition. I loved trying out both setups during the build. The visor head also has a hinge system that lets you flip it up or down by changing the insert, and the clear visor parts can also attach to waist joints, this feature adds versatile staging and posing options.

⚔️ New Energy Blade & Gear

One highlight is the newly sculpted energy blade, which slides smoothly into and out of its sheath. The blade attachment feels secure yet easy to detach mid-display. You also get a cool blade submachine gun, a neat hybrid weapon that feels futuristic and flexible in how you pose it.

🔧 Accessories & Customisation Potential

The TYPE‑E’s accessory list includes:

  • 1 × Energy Blade

  • 1 × Blade Submachine Gun

  • 1 × Set of Hand Parts

  • 1 × Armor Options

  • 1 × Joint Parts for extra posing

You can also plug in chest armor from the not-included Spinatia kit—meaning more modular customization below the waist. Assembling with other 30MM kits like Spinatia or even aftermarket accessories opens up an exciting creative sandbox.

🤖 Versatility in Posing

With flexible joints and detachable blades, the Acerby TYPE‑E is excellent for action poses: one-handed grips on the gun, expansive sword positions, or mid-flight stances using an action base. It also looks great in a more relaxed standing pose—everything just feels balanced.

🏁 Final Verdict: Why the Acerby TYPE‑E Is Worth It

  • Easy for builders of any level—solid snap-fit parts and clear instructions.

  • Amazing customisation options—two armor styles, visor flexibility, and Spinatia compatibility.

  • Great accessories—stylish weaponry and adaptable hand parts.

  • Dynamic posing possibilities—no stiffness, just sleek action.

  • Modular design—connects with other kits for even more creative play.
