HG 1/100 VF-31J Siegfried Hayate Immelmann Use Deluxe Set

The HG 1/100 VF-31J Siegfried (Hayate Immelmann Use) is a deluxe set that includes the main kit alongside a dedicated water transfer decal and an acrylic stand featuring newly drawn illustrations of Freya Vion, created by Macross Delta character designer Chisei Mita (CAPCOM). The illustration is printed on both sides of the stand.

Transformation between Battroid, GERWALK, and Fighter modes is handled via a simplified "Replacement Three-Step Transformation" system, where select parts are swapped rather than folded, allowing each mode to closely match the original setting illustrations without compromising the silhouette. Insert moulding — a first for the HG Macross series — allows complex colour-coded areas to be reproduced through part separation alone, removing the need for paint. The polarised canopy opens and closes, and the minigun pod is movable and can be deployed forward. The container unit reproduces its storage state through part replacement.

Articulation is supported by expressive hand parts, and the kit includes pilot figures for both cockpit and display use alongside a multi-drone pedestal.
