The release of Gundam Lfrith Jiu has been announced by Premium Bandai, in celebration of the launch of "Vanadis Heart," a side story from the first episode of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, which was featured in Kadokawa's monthly Gundam ACE comic magazine.

The kit comes with its main weapon, the Hand of the Tiger. This weapon consists of a large hand-like piece that can fire beams at enemies, and its size is as long as the Gundam. It can also be stored in his backpack when not in use, and serve as an additional booster.

Gundam Lfrith Jiu was illustrated by mechanical designer Kanetake Ebikawa from Ryoji Kansai's concept. This is the main mobile suit of the Vanadis Heart. Its hull unit is installed and visible on its face.

The kit comes with transparent parts for his shell units installed on his face, shoulder, and chest armor plates, with optional activated shell unit stickers.
