Figure Rise Masked Rider Shin Masked Rider

From Bandai's Figure-rise Standard line, this kit brings Masked Rider to life as part of the 50th anniversary "Shin Masked Rider" project. The design follows the visuals as redesigned for the film, with the details and textures of the suit faithfully translated into plastic. Standing around 162mm tall, the kit captures the compound eyes in clear parts, the hair spilling out from beneath the mask, and the skin visible through the gap between the mask and the suit.

Special processing on the mould replicates the leather texture of the body suit, and the chest parts are broken down in a way that gives a realistic finish straight from the box without any painting. The belt and antenna receive an extra finish to suggest a metallic quality, which is a thoughtful touch on parts that could easily have been left flat.

Posability is solid, with a wide range of motion that supports a good variety of action poses. Two muffler parts are included, one in a natural hanging position and one with an adjustable angle, giving you some flexibility in how you set the figure up. The included Figure-rise Effect pedestal lets you display it mid-action if you want to push the pose further.
