EXPO2025 1/144 RX-78F00/E Gundam - EX-001 Glass Feather Equipped

The RX-78F00/E Gundam is a 1/144 scale HG kit based on the variant that appeared in the new video screened at the Osaka-Kansai Expo's Gundam Next Future Pavilion. It's an interesting one for the collection given its connection to a real-world event installation rather than an anime series, and the kit reflects that with some unique equipment choices that set it apart from a standard RX-78 release.

The solar panel section fitted with glass feathers is rendered in clear parts, and the kit can also reproduce the closed-panel configuration if you prefer a cleaner silhouette. The backpack arms are multi-jointed and poseable, giving you a good range of display options. Armour parts are designed to attach, detach, and swap out, and the Iropla multi-colour moulding system means the kit comes out of the box with accurate colours across its components without any painting needed.

The Beam Welding Gun is new to this kit and can be displayed in either its deployed or stored state via part swapping. In stored mode it mounts on the arm, which is a tidy detail.
