HG 1/144 Strike Noir Gundam

The Strike Noir Gundam makes its HG debut straight out of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED CE73 -STARGAZER-, and it's a kit that delivers both in looks and articulation. The build introduces a revised hip joint that moves forward and backward, along with wrist joints that tilt up and down, giving you noticeably more range when it comes to posing the suit dynamically. The aggressive, dark silhouette of the Strike Noir translates well at 1/144 scale, and the overall engineering feels considered for a kit of this grade.

The backpack is where things get interesting. The wings are fully movable and fold out into a flight configuration, with the railguns mounted on each wing deploying independently. The two large beam swords can be attached and detached from the backpack wings, while the two beam pistols stow neatly on the waist armour when not in hand. Rocket anchors extending from various points across the mobile suit are reproduced using lead wires, which is a small but effective touch for capturing the suit's characteristic appearance without overcomplicating the assembly.

A dedicated display stand is included, which is worth noting given how well the flight configuration lends itself to an airborne pose.
