RG 1/144 Shining Gundam

The Shining Gundam from Mobile Fighter G Gundam arrives in RG form with a fully integrated Super Mode transformation built into the kit itself. No parts swapping required — the shift from standard to Super Mode is handled entirely through the kit's own gimmicks, which is a neat bit of engineering for a 1/144 scale build.

The transformation works across the whole body. The head converts to Super Mode without any replacement parts. The shoulder covers deploy with textured surface detail, the arm covers open via a drawer-and-unfold mechanism, and the leg covers expose the internal verniers as they extend. At the ankle, the cover rotates rearward while the toe extends forward, which both looks the part and improves how the kit stands in dynamic poses.

The frame itself is built around human-like movement, with a structure optimised for natural posability rather than just static display. The neck has three axes of movement plus a swing mechanism, giving the head a range of expression that most kits at this scale don't manage. Shining Finger hand parts are included alongside a broader set of expressive hands for general posing.
